We are your local RYA Recognised Training Centre, offering a full range of 'shorebased' courses in and around the Isle of Wight. As well as having fixed dates for courses we also just see when you are available and if we can set dates to you. Just contact us? We do offer double bedroom with en-suite for single or couples wishing to study together.

Karoline and Victor George started Uptown Sailing in 1998 after delivering practical and theory RYA Training for other RYA Training Centres. Since taking up yacht ownership in 2006 they provide practical and well as theory advice.
About Uptown Sailing
Karoline and Victor George provide an RYA Training Centre to suit your 'theory' requirements in and around the Solent. We teach for various schools on the Island and on the mainland as well as UPTOWN SAILING. Also Vic was a photographer, hence the photo opposite.
Full and Comprehensive JOINING INSTRUCTIONS are sent out on all Courses and Charter to help you prepare.
